About Us
Born to Rock and Roll
Colleen, Steve, and Ed founded Just Practicing in the spring of 2020, during the COVID-19 pandemic. It started with weekly get togethers, learning a few songs, and then looking for open-mic nights. We've grown from there, connecting with other musicians through the School of Rock in Downingtown, PA. Now five strong, we share a love and passion for live music, and we enjoy bringing the music to you.
Who we are
We are a multi-member band, blending acoustic and electric guitar, bass, harmonica, vocals, and percussion. We play a mix of rock, country, and blues tunes from the 60s, 70s, 80s to present. We have something for everyone.
Our philosophy
Music brings us all together. We want you to dance, sing along, and enjoy the experience. We want you to have fun listening to songs that feel both comfortably familiar and thrillingly fresh.
